THE THIRD MAN IS EVERYTHING FILM REVIEWS SAY IT IS AND MORE. It was good enough to warrant capitals, I promise.
I love films which play with the technology they have available and this is definitely one of them. The playful camera angles and narrative exposition was astoundingly inventive. I’m no film buff, nor have i watched enough old films to say this with confidence, but it must be at the forefront of its time in terms of originality, execution and innovation.
A film made out of love stands out from the films made for an audience, and the third man is definitely made out of love.
I loved it.
